Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, and many will start to figure out what to do on Valentine’s Day or what to get their significant other. And then there are those who celebrate “Galentine’s Day” or just straight up boycott the holiday. Whoever you celebrate it (or don’t celebrate it) with, board games are an excellent option!

Parker and I got into board games when we started dating. It was something to do together other than watch movies and go out to eat. Board games are the perfect creative date night idea. You can be super heroes together to save the world (Sentinels of the Multiverse or Legendary), eradicate the world from diseases (Pandemic), or compete against each other by creating the better kingdom (Kingdomino).

Board games are also perfect for celebrating Valentine’s Day together as a family. It’s hard to find a babysitter on Valentine’s Day, so why not grab a game and escape a Forbidden Island, battle each other to be the King of Tokyo, or create sculptures of Junk Art?

And for those who don’t have a significant other, get your friends together and play a game! We have over 120 games in our library that you can come play.

Come into PB&J on 178th & Western in Edmond, and we’ll help you find the perfect game to celebrate Valentine’s Day with your spouse, boyfriend/girlfriend, kids, (or a distraction to not celebrate).
